"The more force than necessary," Braga produced in about two months, 16 works, including four videos. In addition, the exhibition will feature catalog trilígue (Dutch, Portuguese and English) and DVD movies. The intuitive creation was influenced by the context of a War in Ieper, a city that was the scene of the extermination of over half a million soldiers in the early twentieth century, between the years 1914 and 1918. The locations that were the inspiration for the works are landscapes that served as a battlefield, cemeteries and monuments.

These exhibitions gather works that indicate common interests and affinities, pointing to a possibility of dialogue among them and readings for the public. The artists belong to a generation born during the 1960’s and are connected to different artistic and geographic contexts. What unites them in this exhibition may be described as a renewal interest by the process of perception of form by the spectator, seeking other ways of connecting the sensitive and the mental. In their works, the reflection about the engagement of the spectator in artistic experience is a direct source of inspiration.

The exhibition in the Foutain Gallery receives works by Alessandro Pessoli, Allora & Calzadilla, Anri Sala, Jorge Macchi, Marepe, Rivane Neuenschwander and Cao Guimarães and Steve McQueen. Through sculptures, videos, drawings and paintings, the exhibition carries the spectator through a trip that departs from an almost domestic dimension, of personal perception, passes through micro and macro cosmology and returns to very intimate images. “Places” refer both to specific locations and universal narratives.

Umbraculum – um lugar na sombra para pensar e trabalhar, the first individual with Jan Fabre (Belgium, 1958) in Brazil, brings a selection of his last 30 working years, from 1977 to 2007, show that travels in Latin America. Some of the works on display were part of the artist's major exhibition at the Louvre in 2008 (The Angel of Metamorphosis).

Part of the extensive work in print by Pierre Alechinsky can be seen in this exhibition which brings together 100 lithographs belonging to the Atelier Clot (Paris, France), Peter Bramsen, also a printer and a partner of Belgian artist for 40 years. The works assembled by the curators and Christian Bramsen Valère Bertrand traverse five decades (1963-2002) developed the production of Alechinsky engraving from 1948.

The exhibition DJ Personal: archives of sound portraits of the Portuguese artist and DJ Susana Guardado, curated by Paulo Reis, continues the program from the Programa Um Olhar de Fora (for foreign artists). Within an intimate space created in the gallery is being presented a collection of 20 videos - sound portraits, which are the result of the coexistence of the artist with other artists and personalities from the cultural, and Brazilian Portuguese. In both environments created by the artist are displayed continuously on televisions, videos of the participants.

A Pinakotheke Cultural apresenta a mostra “Wesley Duke Lee”, com cerca de 60 obras do artista que tem importância histórica para a arte brasileira, criador do Grupo Rex, em 1966, com Nelson Leirner, Geraldo de Barros, Frederico Nasser, Carlos Fajardo e José Resende. A mostra se reveste de um caráter de tributo, já que a última grande exposição dedicada ao artista foi realizada há 18 anos.
