Drive Thru #2, the first exhibition of the artist at the gallery, had as its starting point the idea of cutting of stolen cars. To create the installation, which occupies the terrace of the gallery, two cars of the brand Escort were dismantled and parts were matched to a single car. In Tijuana, Rocha Pitta presents implications of the installation in the form of drawings, videos and a book of artist named Stereo Demo, a sort of catalog of parts disassembled. In the installation, the cars undergo a process similar to mummification, as a relic of past times.
