At first sight, the two new series that comprise Releases / planets just remind the series presented by the artist in 2005, composed of images of spaces, furniture and objects that, at that time, comprised the surroundings of the artist. A closer look, however, will find similar proposals that approach the production of 2005 to the present one. These similarities can be seen not only in how the artist fits the object, isolating it from its surroundings as if figure and background were in the same universe, but also in th narrative frame and in the relationship it establishes with the viewer.
